GANYA AND THE HYENA
GANYA AND THE HYENA
Ganya and his child went into the woodland to chase, however they didn't track down any game and turned out to be eager. From morning till night they chased and chased without progress, yet finally they killed a hyena. Tragically the Nuers don't eat the hyena.
They said to one another, "How will we respond? In the event that we don't eat the hyena, we'll kick the bucket, yet in the event that we do, we'll break our custom."
They thought for some time and Ganya said, "Indeed, I have the appropriate response. First how about we remove the hyena's head and discard it."
So they did.
He took a gander at the hyena and reconsidered.
"Presently remove the legs and discard them," he said.
So they did.
"Presently remove the tail," said Ganya.
So they did.
Then, at that point Ganya said, "Alright, presently it's a buck. How about we skin it and cook it and eat it now."
So it is the story.
